Putka Honey (stingless bee honey)

Putka honey is harvested from stingless bees (Melipona species) found in the forested hills around Othbar. Smaller in volume but richer in flavour than ordinary honey, it has a mild sour-sweet profile treasured in Bhutan for generations.
