Punakha Gi Zaw — large-cut roasted rice specialty from the Punakha valley, perfect for sharing at gatherings and festivals.
The full story
Gi Zaw refers to a coarser, heartier style of roasted rice prepared in Punakha tradition. Othbar roasts locally grown rice in small batches for maximum freshness and crunch.
Serve in bowls during celebrations, mix with dried fruits and nuts, or enjoy with suja (butter tea). Children love it as a crunchy lunchbox addition.
Store airtight in a cool, dry place. Consume within 2 months of opening for best texture.
