The full story
Gundruk is made by wilting mustard or spinach leaves, fermenting them in sealed pits, then sun-drying. Othbar follows the time-honoured Goenshari method for tangy, probiotic-rich greens.
Rinse briefly, then simmer in gundruk soup with potato and timur, fry with dried chilies and garlic as a side, or crumble into dal and lentil dishes.
Keep sealed in a cool, dry place. Refrigeration optional after opening.
